Serving Size: makes 16-20 depending on size.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs SIMPLY STIRRED PEANUT & LIME PASTE
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 500gm pork mince
- 1 tsp ginger- grated
- 1 tsp garlic- finely chopped
- 1 large brown onion- chopped finely
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup fresh breadcrumbs
- peanut oil for cooking
Cooking Directions
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Roll into small balls and place in fridge for ½ hour.
- Heat oil in saucepan med- high.- ALTERNATE METHOD- place on baking tray with baking paper and place in 180 degree oven for 10-15 minutes- depending on size.
- Roll meatballs in flour and then cook in batches in oil- approx 4 minutes- or until cooked.
- Drain on paper towel
- Serve with toothpicks and a satay or sweet chilli sauce.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and left in fridge- just heat in microwave on MED heat for 30-40 seconds- depending on how many are placed in microwave at a time.
